Question: What is the difference between Chlorine and your system? 
Answer:    Chlorine creates an Oxidising and Toxic burning affect to destroy the bacteria. The side effects of this action creates chloramines and carcinogenic Trihalomethane gas which is dangerous and very unhealthy and should be avoided at all cost!

The E-Clear system uses Physical destruction through the production of "Natural Oxygen" "U.V radiation" (Optional) and suffocates the Viruses and bacteria with no Toxic affect by applying Safe Ionisation. Our algaecide electrodes are used only when required to Ionise the pool to 0.7ppm introducing a Copper residual that is less than what is found in some food supplements; harmless and non Toxic! Our space Technology electrodes produce non toxic oxygen and oxidisers that are more efficient than Chlorine and any other system. Killing the whole population of bacteria. You will achieve a FRESH Water friendly non toxic water environment. Question: Why use your way of sanitising?
Answer:   Our way destroys the bacteria and Viruses without damaging your health, destroying your lungs, and wrecking your pool. Chlorine -  Salt is very toxic and unhealthy and will eventually cost you dearly. What is most important, is that we destroy bacteria where chlorine/bromine can not, and very efficiently. Furthermore, our technology does not have high and low points in its protection capabilities. The natural oxygen oxidation is constant, efficient, and very reliable.     

Question:   What about operating costs?
Answer:     Our system will reduce your operating costs by as much as 90%. It will reduce the requirement for P.H correction and reduce your replacement costs for pumps, filter sand, pipe-work and immediate environment as the water is NOT corrosive like a Salt or Chlorine pools. Due to the fact that the natural oxygen technology changes the calcium in the water to a soft bicarbonate there is no hard calcium build up and there is no need to manage your alkaline in the water as this is a constant factor. Also the TDS (Total dissolved solids) remain low ensuring years of efficient sanitising, unlike Salt/Chlorine/Bromine which creates huge TDS problems and reduction in efficient sanitising. (Eventually water has to be changed). 

Question:  Can I irrigate my grass with your water when using the backwash?
Answer:      Most certainly YES!!! There is no destruction of any plant life with the water quality from our pools. This is not possible with Chlorine/Bromine or Salt Pools.  

Question:   Can my animals drink the pool water?
Answer:       Yes without any problems, in fact, animals that drink Salt water are affected by loss of lung capacity within 4 years. They love the salt water but this is very dangerous for them. Many pets worldwide have fallen victim to toxic pool water. Our water is quite safe. 

Question:  Does your system destroy all the Bacteria and Viruses?
Answer:      We can boast an almost 100% destruction of not only of the Bacteria but also Viruses. This is not the case with Chlorine/Bromine or Salt water pools. Many strains of bacteria are resistant to Chlorine and Chlorine is hopeless against Viruses, especially in respect of Cryptosporidium. Tis is a very dangerous problem in swimming pools today. We invite water testing by qualified institutions. 

Question:  What about Algae:
Answer:     If you adhere to our maintenance programme you will never have any algae. Even if the system is abused for short periods, our system will keep your pool from going green. In very hot weather and considering you have now a Chlorine pool, should you leave your pool with no Chlorine for a few days, it will certainly go green. The only remedy you have is shock your pool with more poisonous chemicals! We simply do not have Algae problems in our pools. Should your pumps or something stop working for a long period of time, then we would shock the water with a "Non Chlorine shock treatment". 

Question:   What about hazy water?
Answer:   There are many reasons for hazy water. High P.H, poor filtration, lack of sanitisation, calcium problems and the lack of filtration time. To date, we do not experience hazy water as a problem, if our management of the water is adhered to you, should not experience this problem. We do however support every installation through our technical department and assistance is provided on a ongoing basis Free of charge.    

Question:  My pool is 10 years old and although my eClear system produced crystal clear water for the first few weeks it has turned hazy. My pH is 7.2 Copper residual 0.7ppm Why is that?
Answer:     Your pool of some 10 years is being detoxified. The natural Oxygen process is leaching out calcium from your pool walls and old pipe-work. It will give your pool a new lease of life. Please see Procedure 3 of the Installation Procedures. You will need some OXONE non Chlorine non Toxic shock treatment and a non metallic flocculent  cube (Action Cube) to be placed into the pump pre-filter. Run the pump non stop until clear back washing the filters every 24 hours until you water is perfect. Normally, 3 or 4 days.  This may reoccur 2 or 3 times in old pools. Just repeat the process. This process is doing the world of good for your pool water that has been abused by Toxic chemicals for years. 

Question:  Must I have the UV lamp with the Ionisation and Natural Oxygen and what are the benefits?
Answer:  No the requirement for U.V is not absolute. Our technology will work without the need for ultraviolet. The major benefit for those who install with U.V. is the destruction of the Bacteria time period. U.V will act within 2 to3 seconds of contact time. Also when the pump is not running the U.V has destroyed the DNA Membrane and so bacteria cannot come back to life in a dormant period. However the end result of the water quality is identical.   

Question:  How often must I replace my U.V lamp and Electrodes?
Answer:     If you have the additional UV add on to our system, the lamp life is about 6000 hours. Our algaecide electrodes last between 2 & 3 years. This depends on the size of your pool and filtration time. The Natural Oxygen electrodes never have to be replaced unless they are damaged.  

Question:  What are the electrodes made of? Copper rods have been used before! 
Answer: 

1. The electrodes consist of 5 different components. 99.99% pure Copper. 100% pure silver.  (Electrochemically pre-treated and alloyed under very hygienic conditions) In fact our high silver electrodes are used in Hospital sanitisation for their hot showers. 

2. Pure Zinc is also pre-alloyed, pre treated, and added to our electrode make up.

3. There are 2 additional noble metals added to our electrodes and these are COMPANY SECRETS.

In addition to this our electrodes are drawn and hardened to a specific hardness. This allows the electrode to "SWEAT" and not to come off as bits of alloy but rather as a sweating process. This makes our electrodes quite different to many usual Ionisers. We use as stated "Sweat Sanitization Process". So it’s not just any old copper rods!   We also use our electrodes in a plate form, unlike rods, this is a very much an improved technology.    

CONCLUSION: For those swimmers who want the very best and healthiest water conditions then Chlorine is not the answer, Natural Oxygen and Ionic sanitisation will provide for you a "Drinking Water" quality with nothing to compare with in swimming comfort and health.
